BOTTLING LINE ASSOCIATE I

The Bottling Line Associate I is an important member of both the bottling and harvest teams. For much of the year, A to Z Wineworks processes 40,000 bottles per day, a feat made possible by the Bottling Line team. Bottling Line Associates work together to ensure a smooth flow of operations to meet production goals, while paying close attention to safety and quality requirements, ensuring every bottle meets our high standards. During the fall months, the Bottling Line joins our cellar staff and assists with making the acclaimed wine that has made A to Z the top-selling Oregon wine brand.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Bottling

• Participates in the rotation of the team through several stations throughout each shift.
• Alerts supervisor if quality control standards are not met.
• Performs pre-and post- bottling cleaning of and around equipment.
• Loads and unloads semi-trucks with goods.
• Abides by all safety regulations established by the winery.

Harvest

• Prepares and sanitizes harvest equipment.
• Assists with daily cellar activities including cap management, wine transfers, additions, barrel work and sampling.
• Operates forklifts, pumps, de-stemmers, and sorting tables.
• Responsible for maintaining clean and organized workspaces.

Position Requirements:

• A high School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Work Experience: One year work experience required and preference given to candidates with previous production or industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 10+ hours at a time, ability to perform repetitive actions, able to work inside and outdoors.
• Can repeatedly lift, bend, rotate and carry 50lbs.
• Schedule Requirements: Able to work extended and flexible hours during Harvest (September- November)
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Your Compensation:

$19 per hour
