Treasury Coordinator

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting daily cash operations on multiple bank platforms through online payment processing (ACH and Wires), setting up payment templates, check positive pay uploads, researching ACH and check exceptions, providing banking confirmations to internal departments, and confirming new banking details prior to payment.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Accurate and timely completion of daily/weekly deliverables
• Insuring all payment requests have the proper backup and internal approvals prior to processing the payment
• Following internal guidelines to reduce the risk of fraud
• Attention to detail when setting up payments and templates on banking platforms, to prevent errors
• Knowledge of bank cut off times and holidays
• Thorough understanding of each bank platform to complete daily tasks
• Verifying new bank details per company's internal process
• Comprehension of internal bank account structure
• Monthly bank account reconciliation
• Understanding of the banking industry

Preferred Experience

• Generally, 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• Experience in excel

Environmental Job Requirements

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Part-time position, works 25-30 hours per week. Preferred hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-1 pm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience working with online bank platforms
• Strong attention to detail
• Great Communication Skills
