This position is part of the Remittance Processing department within our Bank Operations group. Remittance Processing is responsible for processing account receivable transactions for commercial customers. Items must be sorted in categories predefined by the customer, scanned into our imaging application, keyed, balanced, and finalized. They also receive and process mailed transactions sent to bank's central post office box. This department will also assist other departments with tasks as needed, such as reviewing and approving check deposits made through the mobile channel. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am-until finished and sometimes Saturdays 7am-3pm with 1 day off during the week plus Sunday. Additional hours may be required as needed. **This position would be in a temporary status though one of our partner staffing firms initially with the potential of being converted to an MFB employee in the near future. ** Position Requirements:
In addition, the position is expected to read, reference, and interpret written departmental procedures, cross train on department tasks, make suggestions to correct or enhance existing processes, and take advantage of available opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of applicable regulations, operational compliance, and the banking industry to support career development and growth. Experience
Ability to accurately 10-key at minimum pace of 9,000 keystrokes per hour and capacity to increase pace as necessary to meet deadlines (preferred)
