INVISTA's Economics & Planning Capability is currently seeking an Economics & Planning Manager for our site in Camden, South Carolina. This leadership role will be part of our Upstream Nylon business, which is the leading global manufacturer of Nylon 6,6 intermediates and polymer. This role will report through the E&P Capability and be a member of Camden Site Leadership Team - preference for candidate to be in Camden, SC, Atlanta, GA, or Wichita, KS. Open to relocation.

What You Will Do

* Advance the business team concept, resulting in improved strategic alignment between site leaders, commercial leaders, and leveraged capabilities, primarily via:

* Leading Camden's two core teams (polymer and Type 71 fiber).
* Leading development of Camden's 5-year bet.

* Influence organizational priorities by connecting on- & off-site capability leaders to vision, key strategies, value creation opportunities, and key economic drivers of our business, to improve business results through improved motivation and alignment with comparative advantage.
* Build capability of Camden personnel to lead business teams to better apply the 5 Dimensions, better apply Koch's decision-making framework, and leverage Koch capabilities to accelerate Camden's transformation.
* Manage the strategic investment process for opportunities affecting Camden by:

* Manage portfolio of ideas and screening efforts. Drive continuous improvement of the screening process.
* Contribute to screening strategic investment opportunities. Take lead role when comparatively advantaged.
* Provide transparency and proactively solicit early feedback to improve stakeholder alignment and value creation from organizational resources in early project phases through full funding.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* 5+ years business leadership experience (plant operations, commercial, business development, planning, and/or finance) in the process manufacturing industries (polymers, chemicals, refining, etc).
* If not based at the Camden site, ability to travel to site up to 25% of the time as needed to develop deep working relationships with site leaders.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Strong written communication skills and ability to lead leadership-level business meetings
* Demonstrated ability to apply economic modeling to complex decisions, such as investments or production & sales optimization.
* Experience supervising, mentoring, and/or teaching others
