Job Title: GS1 Compliance Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GS1 Compliance Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain Operational Excellence team! The position will monitor supplier compliance with GS1 standards that support the advancement of strategic initiatives across GHSC-PSM. This is a unique opportunity to work with a mission-driven project that is leading the practical adoption of GS1 standards to demonstrate operational efficiencies and kickstarting a technological transformation.
Key Responsibilities
For existing suppliers, conduct periodic audits to verify supplier compliance with sharing of GS1-enabled Key Data Elements that support "one up/one down" traceability (e.g. GTINs, GLNs).
For new suppliers, support the collection of identification data for related products/items when needed.
Lead the compilation and analysis of quarterly supplier performance scorecards.
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain internal databases with up-to-date GS1 data.
Support joint efforts with the MIS team and other relevant departments to prepare for GS1 XML-based data exchange with strategic suppliers, and any other GS1-related initiatives.
Prepare GS1 compliance reports, highlighting key indicators and areas of improvement as needed.
Support troubleshooting of system-related issues impacting GS1 data accuracy or compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required, focus on Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations; focus on GS1 standards implementation and compliance preferred.
Certifications: GS1 or supply chain certification desirable.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with supply chain management systems a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
