Logistics - Order Administrator

Your Role

BeaconMedaes, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking a Logistics Order Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for all aspects of shipping/receiving and inventory responsibilites within the local warehouse locations by performing the following responsibilites and tasks:

• Assists customers (internal and external) via the phone. Follow-up on customer inquiries, providing timely and effective response via phone and email.
• Act as liaison between the Customer Center and Product Company.
• Requires continuous OJT to learn specifications on our products and NFPA99.
• Create orders from written PO's and the Quote System. Allocate equipment to orders, create PO's for non-stocked item/equipment, quote delivery time, quote freight charges and process the invoices to customers.
• Place PO's for equipment to Airtec, Product Company Rock Hill, and other vendors to fulfill equipment orders.
• Assist in managing local inventory in our local storage locations.
• Enter written purchase orders for equipment into SAP, and initiate material transfer requests for stock.
• Expedite the shipment of customer backorders in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
• Communicate with customers prior to shipment on all source equipment to confirm delivery information.
• Prepare shipping documentation as well as support the shipping department when required.
• Issue credits, RMA's as approved by project managers or supervision.
• Contact approved freight forwarders for air or ocean quotations.
• Supply back-up coverage to other logistics roles
• Other duties as assigned

To succeed, you will need

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of customer service experience with order entry and invoice processing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of logistics experience.

Education

• High School Diploma, Associate's Degree preferred

Skills

• Must be a self-directed team player with a positive attitude
• Highly service-oriented
• High degree of attention to detail
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Teams)
• Experience with SAP
• Must be highly customer focused with the ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to key at a minimum of 55WPM with no errors
• Organized and adaptable
• Analytical skills
• Trustworthy, honest, and responsible

Travel

• Travel to other warehouses, where other stock is stored, may be needed on occassion.
