About the Office of Graduate Studies The Office of Graduate Studies at MSU Denver is the unit in Academic Affairs that serves as central advocate for campus-wide graduate programs and provides strategic leadership for growth and quality. For support of these efforts, we are looking for a Student Admission Coordinator. Position Summary The Student Admission Coordinator at MSU Denver's Office of Graduate Studies oversees and facilitates the initial phases of the graduate admissions process, including receiving all incoming applications, checking their completion status, and posting all application documents on admissions platform(s) (e.g., Slate, Banner). Throughout the whole admissions process, from application to program admission, the Graduate Student Admission Coordinator serves as central point of contact for prospective graduate students. This position requires an outstanding attitude of service, including patience and professionalism with repeated student inquiries, attention to detail with excellent planning and coordination of the required tasks, reliability with a self-driven sense of responsibility, effective communication skills and the ability for productive collaboration with all graduate programs, departments and multiple administrative units. The Student Admission Coordinator will report to the AVP for Graduate Studies. Duties and Responsibilities Graduate Admissions Coordination - 65%

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range for this position is $45,300 - $68,000. The anticipated starting salary is $62,000. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
