Job Type: Part-time, year-round, or Summer

Reports to: Project Manager

Wage: $22-$25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

A Project Management Intern will take ownership of their role by being a member of the team and counted on every day to make a meaningful contribution to the projects on which you work, and support the planning and estimating stage of projects and projects in progress.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Works closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Aids in the preparation of project proposals.
  • Assists in coordination of material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting, ensuring maximum utilization of physical resources.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
  • Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.



Position Requirements:



  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.


  • In the process of obtaining a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and job site productivity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work for an extended period of time on projects outside of office area.

    • Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.


  • Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
  • A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.
  • Overnight travel is not standard but may be required.
