Treasury Manager

This position is responsible for the accurate accounting and administration of the various financial transactions associated with the activities of the Treasury Administration Department; and to provide assistance, training, and operational back up to the specific functions of the department.

Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals
• Development and maintenance of subsidiary accounting and analysis systems, and operational procedures used to support the various treasury functions
• Document, maintain, and reconcile financial assets, liabilities or other financial transactions associated with the treasury function
• Maintain adequate records to support the reporting of accounting, performance, and compliance information to management, ALCO, BOD and regulatory bodies
• Lead the improvement of existing loan and deposit pricing methods/models as well as the development and maintenance of profitability analysis and reporting
• Implement internal controls needed to determine and track the effectiveness of the loan and deposit pricing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure ongoing compliance with pricing objectives
• Manage the Treasury Administration department's 2^nd Line, 3^rd Line, and external engagements including, but not limited to, SOX, audits, exams, and special projects
• Provide back-up to the specific operational functions in the Treasury Administration department
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics Statistics or related field of study or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years' experience in a bank Treasury department conducting complex financial analysis or banking regulatory agency with focus on examinations within the bank Treasury department
• 2+ years' prior management or Team Leader equivalent experience or demonstrated history of leadership within the Trustmark ecosystem
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and SEC expectations for mid-size banks for compliance regulations and risk assessments
• Demonstrated experience in the processes of the Federal Reserve Cash Management System and the security settlement processes of the Federal Reserve, DTC and other security depositories
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating the interest rate markets to assist in the pricing of Treasury transactions, and to provide adequate back-up to other job functions
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and financial skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present complex analysis in understandable terms for appropriate management interactions (regulators, vendors, executives, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, primarily Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Word, VBA and other database analysis and reporting tools
• Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
• Independent thinker as well as team player
• Ability to manage high-priority assignments with thorough attention to detail and perform in fast-paced dynamic environment
• Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics Statistics or related field of study preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
