Job Summary |
The
Harrison College of Pharmacy is looking for a
TES Multimedia Specialist to conceptualize, design, and implement a variety of digital and medial for the Harrison College of Pharmacy.
Temporary Employment Services (
TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work
- Emergencies

Essential Functions |
- Assists with production of electronic communications efforts in collaboration with a team of communications, writing, and editing professionals to include (but not limited to) production, design, and electronic distribution efforts.
- Plan, develop, and execute captivating digital content that highlight various aspects of the college.
- Create a variety of printed material for the college, from postcards to multi-page publications.
- Create a variety of digital material for use on the web, social media, and other mediums.
- Ensure designs meet Auburn University brand guidelines and requirements.
- Assists with general and event photography and videography and subsequent photo and video editing.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of software.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software.

Desired Qualifications |
- Experience in storytelling through various mediums.
- Experience creating marketing material and advertising programs and events.
