Key Responsibilities of a Senior Logistics Support Analystinclude:



  • Maintaining and sustaining assets deployed for CBP mission operations andperforming data analysis to drive informed decisions.
  • Reviewing and updating CBP policies for data collection and reporting of operational measures.
  • Developing and implementing logistics and sustainment plans to ensure successful program execution.
  • Optimizing operational performance measures to achieve the best total ownership cost for systems, assets, or technologies.
  • Conducting data analysis and supporting program leads in reporting operational metrics to stakeholders.
  • Inspecting and auditing facilities and processes to ensure efficient and effective system sustainment.
  • Evaluating supply chain processes, sparing models, and asset management systems to identify risks and improve efficiency.
  • Applying expertise in ISO 9001, CMMI Level 3, and DHS ALF and SELC processes and procedures.
  • Leveraging knowledge of DHS systems, technologies, and architecture to enhance performance.
  • Identifying technical risks and developing remediation plans to ensure mission success.
  • Managing and developing internal government Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implementing best practices to maintain performance, maintenance, and logistics excellence.
  • Translating Government strategies into effective technical solutions, focusing on autonomy, security, and integration.

Job Requirements

  • CBP BI clearance REQUIRED (Top Secret clearance also acceptable)
  • Bachelor's degree with 12 of experience (Master's degree is a PLUS!)
  • Previous experience in developingand implementinglife-cycle sustainment requirements for new technology programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and oversight of systems in the support/sustainment phase of the system engineering lifecycle.
  • Must have practical experience and project management knowledgeto manage large and complex program requirements and initiatives
  • Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.
  • Knowledge of demonstrated experience in logistics management and systems engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills: must be able to write documents/procedures and provide presentations to leadership.


AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $140,000- $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
