Acara Solutions is seeking a talented Office Manager to join our client on a long term contract opportunity located in Corvallis OR
This position will be up to 30 hours a week on a flexible schedule (onsite)
Pay will be at 25-27/hr. DOE
Office Manager Duties:
  • Responds promptly to requests from local team, corporate contacts, and vendors, maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Handles site purchases and coordinates with corporate Procurement.
  • Assists in new hire onboarding by scheduling interviews and preparing necessary materials.
  • Oversees lab equipment calibration and compliance, maintaining records on SharePoint.
  • Participates in Safety Committee, coordinating inspections and activities.
  • Manages site training records and provides audit support.
  • Interfaces with corporate IT for desktop computer needs.
  • Arranges travel and manages expense reports.
  • Organizes site events and coordinates with managers for meetings and visitors.
  • Handles shipping and receiving.
  • Collaborates with corporate security on office access and vendor management.
  • Proactively seeks ways to improve office environment and safety.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 2 yrs. minimum experience as an administrative assistant or office manager
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
  • Positive and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
