Molex is currently seeking a Busbar Group Manager. In this role you will Manages multiple Global Product Managers to develop and implement the strategic direction for Busbar product lines in support of divisional goals. Acts as a focal point for market knowledge, profitability, forecasts, commercialization and planning of Busbars. Makes priority decisions in all aspects of the Product Management function. What You Will Do * Develops and implements strategic product and annual business plans targeting markets, industries and customers. Identifies product line trends and technologies. Leads long range product planning and sets priorities among/between lines. * Increases sales and market share of assigned product lines in support of Divisional objectives. Tracks progress to plan for revenue, profit and backlog. * Improves profit and return on investment of assigned product lines. Establishes the priority for cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement projects. * Will need to embrace the role of the supervisor as will have direct supervisory responsibility for marketing professionals and their support staff. Plans for necessary training, scheduling workload, evaluating performance of employees. Participates in interviewing and recruitment activities and will recommend or provide input on promotions, salary changes, disciplinary action, etc. * Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures. * Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's Degree * 5+ years product marketing experience in connector or Busbar Industry * 5+ years product marketing experience in electro-mechanical device industry What Will Put You Ahead * Previous supervisory experience * Direct customer interaction * Experience with High-Power products including connectors and busbars For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000-$180,000 per year.
