Job Description: Execute daily operations of incoming calls & faxes. Provides administrative support services for managers and professional staff,including scheduling, credentialing, hospital policies, meeting minutes, facility visits and correspondence. Professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with courts, judges, attorneys, family members and outside agencies. This position is required to adhere to time and attendance policies including overtime and inclement weather practices. "This position is deemed essential and has been designated for mandatory operations by the Appointing Authority; therefore, the incumbent is not eligible for Adverse Weather Leave." Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree. Must have five years of professional, administrative or business experience. Must have an excellent ability to effectively coordinate and accomplish multiple assignments and coordinate the work of others. Advanced competency in the creating and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases, with ability to formulate, assess and report on data indicators. The employee must have the ability to train and orient others. Clinical experience in the mental health system a plus. Must be proficient in MS Office. Additional experience in public or business administration, health or a related field will substitute for one year of the required education on a year-for-year basis. Must have computer competency in approved hospital systems. Must have excellent customer service skills. The employee shall become familiar with HIPAA regulations and do their utmost to protect all protected health information (PHI) and other personal or sensitive information within their trust in the course of state business by applying appropriate safeguards and sharing only the information required to deliver agency services. Any personal or sensitive information overheard or seen by the employee will be kept confidential by not sharing it with others, on or off the work-site grounds.
