- Cheerfully greet and welcome patients.
- Assist the dental hygienist in setting up and cleaning rooms for procedures.
- Support the dentist with various procedures.
- Prepare and sanitize rooms before and after procedures.
- Accurately document completed and pending work in patient charts.
- Educate patients about oral health and address their questions.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Current dental assistant license with an x-ray certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.

- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .
- Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.
Job related experience:
- Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
- Pediatric experience, preferred

- Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
Working conditions:
