This position will involve presenting high-quality emergency service and industrial safety programs for the Center. These programs may take place both on-site and at off-site locations.

Major Job Duties:

  • Delivering emergency service and industrial safety training programs in accordance with established curriculum and guidelines.

  • Managing the operation and condition of all utilized training equipment, training props, and facilities.

  • Organizing instructor transportation and ensuring that all course materials and audio-visual equipment are prepared and functional.

  • Ensuring the return of all issued materials and equipment in the same condition as received.

  • Must complete all required paperwork in line with departmental procedures and Chapter 335 of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PA State Fire Academy Approved Instructor

  • NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor 1

  • NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor 2

Clearances Required:

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check

  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance

  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance

These programs may be conducted on-site and at off-site locations. Positions are assigned to classes, which may occur during the day, night, or weekends, based on the class schedule.
