- Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

- Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.
. The pay for this position is from $20.80- $24.57

Our Inside Sales Representatives sell industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding equipment, power and hand tools, and other supplies to customers, and makes deliveries on an as-needed basis. Our ideal Inside Sales rep will thrive in a positive work environment that they not just enjoy, but contribute to; we share in successes and overcome challenges together.

In particular, you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Order entry, process cash and charge orders; assist with reconciliation of cash and bank deposits.

  • Provide timely communication back to distribution manager or customer's salesman regarding any changes related to the customer.

  • Communicate by phone, e-mail and in person with customers, sales staff, store managers and others, inquiring about and providing information on cost, ordering and delivery times, etc.

  • Deliver cylinders and hard goods to customers when needed.

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and airbrake endorsements;

  • No at fault accidents or moving violations within the past 3 years;

  • No DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions within the past 7 years;

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

  • Basic computer skills (i.e. Window Applications)

  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
