Scrum Master and Agile Strategist

The Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master/Agile Strategist, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that'll protect our military.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA and Confluence, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

In this role, you'll directly impact government clients by helping design and implement next generation software solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum software development while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

• 5+ years of experience with leading Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

• 5+ years of experience with creating workflows and issue types in Jira

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools

• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Confluence

• Knowledge of delivering projects and tasks to customers

• Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, decompose them into user stories, and group them into logically consistent epics

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Experience in working with technical clients and senior executives

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Axelos Agile Certification, or related Certification

• SAFe Certification
