Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in West Falls, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client is looking for someone with a background in inspection in a manufacturing/machining area.
  • Plan and perform complex first-piece and AS9102-compliant first-article inspections to determine manufacturing process effectiveness and operator or technician competency.
  • To assess process risk due to variations in set-up, tools used, ambiguous instructions, measuring equipment limitations, human factors, and sub-optimum manufacturing methods.
  • Inspect parts using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity.
  • Aid in manufacturing and production management to meet artistry standards.
  • Assist all engineering disciplines in supporting process improvement and investigative inspection activities.
  • Help train operators and inspectors on best practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • Assist in problem-solving activities to provide evaluation support for identified nonconformities.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $72k - $95K / year.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week (1st shift).

Length: Direct Hire.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in CMM machine or other inspection equipment.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Inspection in a manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in automated and manual measuring and test equipment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good demonstrated background with GD&T Blueprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and GD&T concepts.
