We are seeking a seasoned NetSuite Manufacturing Technical Lead to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NetSuite's manufacturing functionality, particularly in areas such as Work Orders, Work in Process (WIP), average costing, and assembly builds with Bill of Materials (BOMs). This role is critical to enhancing our manufacturing operations through the effective use of NetSuite ERP, integrating with MES and driving continuous improvement across operations.
Job Duties:
NetSuite Manufacturing Configuration and Support:
- Configure and maintain NetSuite modules related to manufacturing and inventory management.
- Manage and optimize Work Orders and WIP processes to ensure smooth production flows.
- Configure and support assembly builds with multi-level BOMs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in builds.
Average Costing Analysis and Management:
- Support accurate cost tracking for materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Work with plant management and accounting to understand cost of manufacturing a product and build reports / KPIs to enhance operations and identify deficiencies or waste.
Process Design and Optimization:
- Develop and document workflows for manufacturing operations from raw material to finished good completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies in the production cycle.
- Partner with Engineering team to integrate Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to NetSuite and identify opportunities to improve.
Customization and Development:
- Utilize SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder to create customizations that align with business requirements.
- Build custom reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into manufacturing and inventory metrics.
- Configure dashboards, reports, and saved searches to meet user and departmental needs.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes within NetSuite and implement improvements.
Training and Documentation:
- Train end users and internal teams on NetSuite manufacturing functionality.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and best practices.
Travel:
- Westrock has facilities in Little Rock, Arkansas and Concord, North Carolina. This position can be primarily located in either place. Occasional travel between the locations will be required. There are other Westrock facilities and operations in other countries in Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Travel to these locations is unlikely, but possible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of technical NetSuite experience
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
