APPLY Cornell SC Johnson College of Business: The Office of External Relations and Engagement: The Office of External Relations and Engagement within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is responsible for enhancing the college's external presence and impact. We collaborate with college leadership and faculty on special events, conferences, corporate relations, special speaking opportunities, university-community engagement, and collaborations from within Cornell to across the globe. The Senior Conference and Events Planner at SC Johnson College of Business is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, advising, and execution of logistics and format for a wide range of events and conferences aimed at enhancing the college's engagement with external stakeholders. This role involves collaborating with faculty, staff, alumni affairs and development (AAD) and industry partners to deliver impactful events that align with the college's strategic objectives and mission. Roles, tasks, and responsibilities on specific events will vary. One event may need only minimal advice or interaction, while another may require independent leadership and substantive accountability, ranging from high-level strategic planning to hands-on front-line tasks such as printing nametags or arranging furniture. Setting priorities and aligning involvement with larger External Relations and college goals will inform how responsibilities will apply to any given event.
