Inside Sales Representative - Power Systems Packaging

Altorfer Inc. Power Systems division sells and services Caterpillar engine products and accessories, including engine-generator sets and controls. This position will be responsible for providing quotes and order support for customers (internal/external).

Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their sales needs.
• Accurately input orders, billing, stocking, and selling of items into the ERP system
• Use computer parts books system to look up certain parts.
• Process orders as they come in.
• Maintain customer relationships and follow up on sales leads.

• Collaborate with others to achieve optimum profit levels for all quoted jobs.
• Provides prompt and professional responses to meet customer needs effectively.
• Reviews and updates relevant information in ERP software.
• Research the technical aspects of jobs to develop comprehensive quotations.
• Upsells parts and services by reviewing history and identifying opportunities to present to customers.
• Maintains recordkeeping for sales using ERP.
• Performs additional administrative and inside sales tasks to help the team meet goals and objectives.

• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in parts operations, sales or project management related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Military encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Global Shop Solutions ERP encouraged
• Knowledge of Caterpillar Power Generation equipment.
• Computer literate, PC experience including Microsoft Office preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
• Customer service experience and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 25lbs, climb ladders and stairs on occasion.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Payrate: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

This position works in an office environment with some warehouse or outside exposure. Occasionally required to walk, bend, and lift up to 25lbs. Wearing approved safety equipment is necessary when required.
