JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary: Manages Program procedures, providing supervision to clinical staff who provide therapy, intake, assessment, and referral. Supervises staff and coordinates activities with Mobile Crisis and related corporate and community programs. Plans, develops, organizes, directs, monitors, and evaluates programs and activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree/ Licensed (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT) per Florida Department of Professional Regulation as per chapter 490 or 491 F.S. Management experience. Experience collaborating with community partners. Experience working with families involved with child welfare. Knowledge of Manatee County Resources. Disciplined, organized, good communication skills, and calm in a crisis. Valid Florida Driver's License, current automobile insurance and a safe driving record a must.

Preferred Qualification: Knowledge of local mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice, veteran and community resources. Knowledge of addiction treatment (Motivational Interviewing), trauma-focused treatment, crisis intervention and dialectical behavioral therapy. 3 years' related work experience preferred. Strong background in the provision of Evidenced Based and Evidenced Informed Trauma services and practices preferred.

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-directed and excellent management and supervisory skills. Ability to understand and manage program budgets and contracts. Excellent writing and verbal skills for report writing and communication with community resources.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

Provides direct supervision to assigned staff to ensure efficient office operations and a high level of customer service. Ensure continuity of care within agency, among programs and with community providers. Maintain quality assurance standards by preparing for chart audits, monitoring performance outcome measures, overseeing contracts and providing input on budgets as requested. Organize and conduct staff meetings and trainings as needed and appropriate. Perform administrative tasks including completing performance appraisals of staff and review and revise policies and procedures. Monitor clinical documentation compliance, develop, and implement new procedures to improve compliance.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position operates in a professional office environment and spends time in outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment settings. This position may be subject to exposure to individuals who engage in maladaptive behavior. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to observe office environments and to use speech and hearing to interact with others in person, via telephone, using computer technology and in writing.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full time, exempt position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday- days. This position may be required to work evening and weekend hours. This position has on call responsibilities. Frequent local travel is required.

$58,700.00--$82,300.00
