Position Summary:

As the Product Quality Coordinator, your responsibilities will include facilitating and coordinating the sending out of testing samples, ensuring timely receipt of results, and managing the disposition of materials. You will also take the lead in the document control process for specific programs, which involves processing samples, registering specifications and managing certificates of analysis.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong multitasking abilities, work well under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines. Additionally, being a strong communicator is essential, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a team-oriented approach. It is crucial to have a sense of urgency in your work to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sample submission forms.
  • Fill out the ingredient testing and finished product testing tracking spreadsheets with due dates.
  • Follow up with the labs to ensure proper turnaround times.
  • Print out (and save on QC/QA server) test results.
  • Review test results.
  • Upload documents to Veeva system.
  • In the Absence of Quality Inspector, perform daily checks that are performed by the Quality team on the production floor. Assist Quality Inspectors in ensuring the highest quality products by being involved in the quality checks in production (capsule weights, cleanliness checks, weighing room, bottling line checks, etc.)
  • Manage Document Control Process.
  • Participate in Quality Inspections or audits as primary facilitator or back room lead.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Assist in corrective and preventive action process management.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
  • In the Absence of Quality Inspector, perform daily checks that are performed by the Quality team on the production floor. Assist Quality Inspectors in ensuring the highest quality products by being involved in the quality checks in production (capsule weights, cleanliness checks, weighing room, bottling line checks, etc.)
  • Participate in the collection of samples for testing to go out to labs.
  • Other Quality duties as assigned.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is Preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of the Dietary Supplement industry, or similar GMP regulated industry is preferred.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar position is strongly desired.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other functions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-oriented
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications strongly preferred.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and quality while maintaining high standards.
  • Please note that the work environment may involve exposure to powders, chemicals, and allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish.

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $43,600.00to $52,000.00.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
