Our Core Development Team is actively seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to support the enhancement of our Silverlake and 20/20 core platforms, along with various ancillary applications, such as ACH, wires, account analysis, and reconciliation functions. This position will initially focus on our Loyalty and Rewards product. You will contribute to the software development process by ensuring thorough and precise documentation of system requirements and serve as a liaison between customers and core and deposit development departments during the product development phase. Strong analytical and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, are essential qualifications for this role.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from any location within the United States. The potential salary range for this role is $73,962 - $111,259, with compensation factors including candidate experience and location, to be determined by the hiring manager.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • May perform application, system and regression tests.
  • Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
  • Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
  • Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Must have at least 4 years of experience working with core banking platforms in a back-office environment, with a strong understanding of core systems and operational processes, including a background in technical or leadership roles.
  • Proficient in ACH, Account Analysis, Wire, and other deposit functions.
  • Previous experience as a business analyst or similar role in a bank, Fintech, or related environment, with responsibilities including defining and setting system and functional requirements for products.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical associates, stakeholders, and others through both verbal and written communication, demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Jack Henry's Silverlake, 20/20, and Xperience platforms.
  • Familiarity with R360 or other rewards platforms.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proficient in working with JSON.
