Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Senior Project Manager for the MARFORPAC Maritime Operations Center (MOC) systems integration effort to support MARFORPAC at Camp Smith, HI and work on-site.

This position is in the Assistant Chief of Staff, G39/G6 Division, G39 Directorate, at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC). The primary purpose of this contractor support position is to serve as the MARFORPAC Program manager for the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) Systems Integration effort, ensuring that current and future Marine Corps sites designated as alternate MOCs supporting the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters and designated Joint Task Force Headquarters. This position will coordinate across war-fighting functions to ensure the USMC's MOC sites have access to the right data and systems to fulfill all missions required of an Echelon 2 and 3 MOC.

What you'll do:

    Lead coordination/integration across the MARFORPAC staff in support of capturing and fulfilling alternate MOC site requirements.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate Navy PMW(s) to gather MOC requirements and potentially coordinate MOC capability installations at USMC sites, with U.S. Pacific Fleet's staff to gather MOC requirements, I and III MEFs' staffs to assess current and future planned sites to be designated as alternate MOCs, and with the ICD-705 and other USMC Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) related program offices and assess these facilities' viability as alternate MOCs.
  • Identify gaps between MOC requirements and currently planned Marine Corps operations centers and SCIF sites-create a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to fulfill gaps for selected sites.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate Marine Corps Installations (MCI) to identify gaps and fulfill requirements ISO meeting MOC redundancy and continuity of operations requirements, MARFORPAC HQ staff to capture Fleet Marine Forces Pacific (FMF PAC) augmentation requirements to a MOC in support of a Navy-led JTF or JFMCC (e.g. USMC-specific data/systems/software requirements), HQMC and MARCORSYSCOM entities to formalize alternate MOC site requirements and POM for funding in support of alternate MOC site requirements' fulfillment.
  • Coordinate capturing any Family of Integrated Targeting Cells (FITSC) and Navy Integrated Targeting Cells (NITC) requirements for alternate MOC sites, capture any Joint Fires Network (JFN) data sharing requirements for alternate MOC sites, and capture any Virtual Secure Enclave (VSE) data sharing requirements for alternate MOC sites.


Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education: 17 years with BS/BA; 15 years with MS/MA or 22 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with Navy/USMC amphibious communication requirements
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense, INDOPACOM, and the USMC
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and contribute to a team are required.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. military structure, culture, and language
  • Must be able to develop and brief technically complex information to senior military and civilian leadership
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
