Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning or floor care preferred. |
Equipment Utilized |
Vacuum, cleaning chemicals and tools, trash compactor. |
Physical Demands and Work Environment |
Cleaning - must be able to work in high and low reach areas that can have limited access. Strength to move cleaning cart. Use canister or upright vacuum.
Trash Removal - must be able to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis, walking distances required; working outside during inclement weather. |

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
