GENERAL FUNCTION
Manage, maintain and grow X-Cel's market share within the contact lens industry. Instruct accounts on specialty contact lens designs, advise on fitting techniques and consult regarding vision modalities. Demonstrate a professional demeanor, indicate a high level of industry knowledge and represent the company at trade functions
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain business within assigned territory.
- Obtain new business from existing & potential accounts.
- Conduct education and training for both Eye Care Professional (ECP) and office staff and internal employees.
- ECP in-office patient fitting sessions.
- ECP group presentations and hands-on-fitting workshops at all branch locations.
- Work within an appropriate call cycle of face-to-face contact with accounts, a minimum of 3 visits per year.
- Account profiling to assess business potential and product opportunities.
- Meet or exceed all forecast product objectives.
- Provide reporting within the time and information guidelines.
- Conduct and develop business in a professional, cost effective, targeted manner.
- Communicate with management, peers & coworkers to maximize available resources.
- Provides proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attends in-house or Walman sponsored training meetings when necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree and three or more years of successful related sales experience
- Professional communication skills in both English and Spanish are required; public speaking, listening, verbal and written proficiency.
- Accreditation required in one of the following: ABO, NCLE, JCHAPO (accreditation must be obtained within the first 12 to18 months of working in this position).
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record that complies with the Walman Optical Company Motor Vehicle Policy.
- This position also requires a valid passport and International travel with overnight stays; 40 to 50% of the time.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
