Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Data Governance Analyst is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and Operations to ensure that data is effectively governed and leveraged for data-driven decision making. This role will play a key part in optimizing our data strategy and data governance practices by supporting ADA Data Owners and Stewards and the overall data governance framework across the organization. This role will advocate for metadata documentation, protection of sensitive data, data quality, data literacy, and contributing to remaster data management efforts.

Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • 5 years experience supporting data governance strategies and data management practices
  • Experience data analytics and data quality assurance, managing data related projects, and facilitating meetings and discussions to achieve consensus and drive decision
  • Knowledge in data management concepts, including Master Data Management (MDM); data catalogs and metadata management;
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and data security best practice
  • Skills & Attributes: analytical; verbal communication; facilitation; collaboration; presentation; results-focused; writing; project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Travel at least twice per year to conferences or if employee lives out of State, they may need to come to the office for certain meetings
  • Position may require before or after hours work


Nice to Have:



  • Experience working with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, OvalEdge, etc.
  • Experience using Visio for new process development and process improvement
