The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Department of Neurology in the Division of General Neurology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking an Associate Clinical Neurologist. This role reports to the Chief of the Division of General Neurology, currently Dr. J. Kirk Roberts, and the Chair of the Department of Neurology, Dr. Richard Mayeux. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the Division of General Neurology and collaborate with members of other divisions and departments to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities



  • Deliver the highest standard of care to adult patients with general neurological conditions.
  • Provide timely and effective management for adult neurology patients, including prompt response to the needs and concerns of referring physicians, both internal and external to the medical center.
  • Maintain a consistent level of excellence in clinical care and ensure adherence to best practices in patient management.
  • Actively participate in clinical operations at a new, state-of-the-art multi-specialty medical practice located in White Plains, Westchester, adjacent to New York City.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent.
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
  • Licensure: Eligible for a New York State Medical License.
  • Training: Fellowship training in the relevant subspecialty is required.
