Job Title: Administrative Supervisor, Innovative Services

Department: Operations

Status: Exempt

Reports To: Director of Operations

SUMMARY

Purpose of this position is to coordinate the implementation and day-to-day operations of 911_Nurse Navigation and other innovative healthcare access service lines, focusing on sustainable business models, customer satisfaction, community engagement and service delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates advanced project plans and coordinates strategic implementation of 911-Nurse Navigation and other innovative service lines
  • Develops and maintains strategic relationships with PSAPs, fire departments and hospital partners throughout the County.
  • Develops and maintains network of alternative healthcare options for EMS patients.
  • Develops and maintains network of transportation options for EMS patients to alternative destinations.
  • Engage in contract negotiations related to healthcare access service lines.
  • Analyzes markets and develops plans which match the supply of out-of-hospital healthcare services appropriately to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure optimal service levels to agencies, hospitals, and the medical community.
  • Analyze information regarding customer satisfaction, modify processes, and coach employees to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Participate in marketing activities and business development to increase overall revenue and decrease operational costs that are the result of dry runs and lost unit hours.
  • Prepare and analyze 911-Nurse Navigation dashboard and other data reports.
  • Provide direct crew feedback for underutilization or misutilization of 911-Nurse Navigation and other alternative service lines designed to maximize access to healthcare for the community.
  • Ensure compliance with AMR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure continuous quality improvement through clinical management, operations, communications center, and protocol interaction.
  • Establish and execute Community Education plans to market company's impact and service lines to community.
  • Interact with other emergency providers: public and private.
  • Represent GMR in applicable county, joint agency and other stakeholder meetings
  • Represent GMR at applicable community or political events
  • Establish goals and objectives for field operations based upon communicated goals and strategies for the region, and clearly communicate these goals and objectives to the appropriate employees.
  • Role model appropriate behavior with regard to GMR Vision and Guiding Principles
  • Provides clinical CQI for alternative service lines
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current EMT or Paramedic licensure is required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Organizational Leadership or appropriate field of study is preferred
  • Minimum of five years in EMS, Healthcare or related field
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record cultivating relationships with internal and external customer-base.
  • Demonstrated track record of adherence to and promotion of GMR policy, protocol and guiding principles.
