POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Brand Manager-Targeted Brands, is responsible for supporting the strategic planning, budgeting, monthly reporting, and product management of our three targeted brands: Osteo Bi-Flex, Ester-C, and GARD. This position involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Media, Customer Strategy, Sales, Demand/Supply Planning, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Consumer Insights, to support the achievement of brand objectives.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning

  • Support the annual planning process, aggregating key learnings and insights to build compelling brand strategies
  • Collaborate with Brand Experience to build marketing plans that align with brand strategy, and meet brand objectives
  • Collaborate with Sales/Customer Strategy to translate brand strategy into meaningful selling materials

Budget Management

  • Oversee brand budgets - tracking PO requests, optimizing mix as needed, submitting monthly financial deliverables
  • Manage coupons - submitting code requests, forecasting and redemption tracking

Monthly Reporting

  • Lead Monthly Business Reviews - aggregating latest consumption and shipment data, new product performance, competitive entrants, tactical updates/results
  • Support monthly GPS phasing with consumption trends, customer insights, and program changes to inform and enable consensus

Product Management

  • Facilitate changes to packaging, bulk and new item requests
  • Partner with inventory team to track any OOS/issues and reduce write-offs
  • Partner with medical/legal/regulatory to maintain, approve claims

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree required, Masters preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in a highly similar role
  • Branded CPG industry experience preferable, but not required
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort level building analytical models and working with data to create actionable insights
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and enthusiasm for leadership
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential
  • Proficiency in coordinating across cross-functional teams in a variety of corporate functions including sales, operations, finance, legal and regulatory.
  • Motivated, energetic, and excited to learn from great leaders in the CPG industry
  • Passion for the health & wellness space a plus

The approximate pay range for this position is $90,000- $120,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
