Position Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance and optimization of clinical information systems supporting patient care functions. The Manager, Clinical Informatics will participate in the planning, budgeting, and execution of large clinical Information Services projects. The position is responsible for staying current with regulatory requirements for documentation and quality, ever changing nursing standards of care and trends in Clinical Informatics. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field or equivalent education/experience.
* Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
* Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
* Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
* Five Years (5) nursing (clinical) experience in a patient care setting
* Five (5) years informatics experience with clinical information system implementation, support and optimization including large, enterprise projects, and/or Certification in Nursing Informatics
* Epic knowledge base of workflows and processes
o Will be required to complete Epic Certification within 6 months

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $120,328.00 - $180,482.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
