The Treasury Management Relationship Manager position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining treasury management relationships within the business community and generating new deposits and fee income by promoting treasury management products and services to new and existing customers.

As a Treasury Management Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Develops treasury management relationships within the business community, partnering as appropriate with Commercial Bankers or other staff to best address customer needs.
  • Generates fee income and new deposits through new business development and through cross-selling treasury management products and services with existing commercial relationships.
  • Provides education to staff and customers on the features and benefits of various treasury management products and services, including online banking, remote deposit capture, ACH Origination, ACH & Check Positive Pay, wire transfers, account reconciliation, automation, and more.
  • Provides leadership, development and mentoring to the Treasury Management support staff and continuously develops his/her product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Ensures that commercial clients receive thorough and timely delivery of Treasury Management services.
  • Oversees the implementation of Treasury Management services, ensuring that Treasury Management staff members interface with clients/prospects to obtain necessary information and provide superior customer service.
  • Serves as liaison between Commercial Department and Operations and between customers and Operations.
  • Uses analytical skills to gather data, write reports and complete comparative banking fee analyses for use by others within the department and organization as needed.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • At minimum 5 years of experience in banking, specifically Commercial Banking or Treasury Management
  • PC, phone system, general office equipment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management products and services
  • Ability to effectively explain the features and benefits of Treasury Management services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Strong sales skills and management/leadership skills.
