Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Technical Sales Representative to join our team in or near Northeast Florida. This position combines technical sales expertise with a passion for educating end-users and reseller partners. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth while equipping clients and partners with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the value of our products and services.

Essential Job Functions:
|
Technical Sales
- Identify and engage potential customers, including end-users and reseller partners.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultations to showcase the value of solutions and products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sales team, distributors and clients, addressing their technical needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies and educate the sales team on them.
Training and Enablement
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and reseller partners, ensuring they understand product features, benefits, and applications.
- Create training materials, including guides, videos, and presentations, tailored to various audience levels.
- Conduct hands-on workshops, webinars, and in-person training sessions.
- Gather feedback from training participants to improve content and delivery methods.
- Act as a technical resource for partners, supporting them in pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Required Experience:
|
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years in technical sales, account management, or related roles.
- Experience conducting technical training for diverse audiences.

Skills:
|
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain complex products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
- Proficiency in [specify relevant software/tools, e.g., CRM systems, presentation software].
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, training sessions, and industry events (up to 50% of the time).
