Certified Medical Assistant 100% On-Site - Chevy Chase, MD Pay: $18-24/hr based on experience Job Description * The Medical Assistant will work within a busy Primary Care clinic. * They will be doing prior authorizations, triaging, rooming patients, vital signs, and getting the charts prepared for Doctors and Nurses. * They may be bringing in information for Prescription Refills, and they will be putting that information into the system for the Nurse and Doctor. * The MA will be getting the patients through the first 30% of their visit--preparing exam rooms/patients for the physicians and will be seeing around 20-30 patients per day. * Required - Active Medical Assistant Certification and Active BLS Certification. * This is a full-time contract to hire job opportunity with benefits! Schedule: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM - Monday through Friday Additional Skills & Qualifications * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Candidates must have a valid Medical Assistant Certification - CMA or RMA. * Ideal candidate has 2+ years of medical assistant experience, preferably with primary care experience. * Experience with 30+ patients/day would be considered relevant experience in terms of workload. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
