The Developer supports company operation support systems (OSS), assists with automating internal processes through solution development, and performs maintenance of operational tools and systems. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of a variety of programming languages and integration methods, and the ability to research and evaluate third-party offerings.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Supports company OSS across various departments;
  • Assists with automating and streamlining internal processes through solution development and scripting;
  • Assists with maintenance of operational tools/systems, applying best practices;
  • Serves as administrator for SharePoint Online, creating forms, lists, etc., and automating with tools like Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate;
  • Provides support for end users on company utilized applications;
  • Works with vendors for support, maintenance, upgrades, and new feature requests;
  • Assists workflow design, communication templates, and process improvement for company OSS;
  • Validates documents and thoroughly tests all solutions before implementing in production;
  • Assists with research and recommendations of external software applications, ensuring system compatibilities;
  • Identifies, designs, tests, and implements development and process improvement opportunities;
  • Performs other duties as required by the Application Support & Development Manager.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of various programming languages;
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL based environments, i.e. MS-SQL, MySQL, etc.;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Power Apps;
  • Knowledge of application troubleshooting tools (i.e., Windows Sysinternals);
  • Highly skilled in problem solving and resolution;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and various business contacts;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects;


Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related degree preferred or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
