Job Overview & Responsibilities

At ULA, this role primarily consists of developing, deploying, and maintain apps within ULA's SAP Fiori application suite. This includes custom applications for manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and various other disciplines. A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of UI5 development in SAP, as well as a good working knowledge of the extensibility and capabilities of ABAP and OData. Primary responsibilities include working with business users and analysts to design and develop new apps, augment the capabilities of existing apps, perform support and maintenance, troubleshooting application issues and performance, upgrades/installs/deployments, and configuring the Fiori Launchpad. This role is fast paced, dynamic and changes day to day. Well qualified candidates will be fast learners, self-motivated, and able to adapt quicky to changing priorities.




  • Develop and maintain custom SAP UI5 applications and deploy to the SAP Fiori Launchpad
  • Optimize and configure SAP Fiori Launchpad (all layers, all modules, and interfaces & integrations, as needed) for multiple 4 tier environments.
  • Support integrations to other applications and optimize data flows across the environments.
  • Troubleshoot, improve and optimize system architectural elements, such as Web, Dispatchers, Pool Managers, web servers, distribution, clients, etc. for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Establish and Maintain system health monitoring & notifications.
  • SAP UI5 Expert to resolve key systemic production issues sent from application on call manager. Off-business hours involvement is often required for urgent production systemic issue, Maintenance, Upgrades and solution deployments.
  • Monitor system regularly; ensure that the SAP Fiori services & ABAP scripts are properly running, Create and develop scripts to enable effective system health monitoring.
  • Perform SAP Fiori system admin activities.

Minimum of 6 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent UI5 and Fiori OData service development skills in classic ECC environment
  • Exposure to production planning, material master, BoM, routings, change masters, production orders, time tickets, goods movements/backflushing
  • Experience with modern software development processes/tools/languages (VSCode, Git, SAP Transports, XML, JSON, OData, JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills



Preferred Qualifications



  • Working closely with business analysts, backend developers and UI/UX developers on development of Manufacturing Engineering Systems
  • Development, unit testing, integration and regression testing including building test case
  • Creating technical specification documentation
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Effective time-management and communication skills

Summary Salary Range (forULA - Denveronly): $125,750.00 - $196,522.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
