Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:

* Conducts the physical count and inspection of arriving and departing materials.
* Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Inventory Control Records.
* Ensures documentation to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damaged conditions of material received; ensures corrective action is expeditiously completed and that formal Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Reports are prepared for permanent record.
* Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
* Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations or resolve the problem.
* Assist in the warehouse locations' physical inventory and reconciliation process and complete validation of physical job site inventories to ensure accurate records and controls.
* Analyze inventory data on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
* Audit transactions to ensure ordering/receiving accuracy.
* Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions that are timely and in the organization's best interests.
* Support company goals and promote continuous improvement.
* Performs additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of progressive experience in a warehouse environment.
* Previous construction experience or project manager responsibilities are preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
* Interpersonal skills (effectively working with all levels from hourly to management).
* Time management and multi-tasking skills
* Precise and detail-oriented; highly organized
* A valid driver's license is required.
