Training Intern

Job Summary:

The Training Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting Hillpointe's Talent & Training team. This position plays an important role in supporting initiatives to improve candidate experience, onboard new hires, and deploy ongoing training modules.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Develop relationships with Hillpointe managers to build awareness of their departments' onboarding and training needs.


  • Learn the organization's onboarding process and assist with post-offer employment screening details.


  • Partner with Training team to conduct new hire welcome orientation - training and compliance meetings.


  • Organize training records and follow up with appropriate leadership to ensure completion.


  • Review training materials and make recommendations. Learn how to create content and support training module deployment.


  • Collaborate with HR team members on various HR projects and initiatives, providing support as required.


  • Stay informed about HR-related laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization's HR processes remain in compliance.


  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.



Requirements:




  • Actively enrolled in a BS/BA degree program at an accredited higher learning institution.




  • Intermediate skill level in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.




  • Ability to work on-site in an office environment for 20-25 hours each week.
