JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing high-level, as well as detailed, quantitative and qualitative analytical support, including planning, reporting and specific project analysis. This position will supportthe R&D and IT teams, as well as providing assistance to the Corporate Forecast, Planning, and Analysis Group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Performs financial analyses on key functional area metrics and targets
  • Supports annual budget, forecasts and/or long range (strategic) planning.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and communicates trends and issues impacting the business on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations
  • Supports the FP&A Team with financial reporting, analysis, forecast, budget, and special project responsibilities
  • Provides financial modeling support, financial perspective, and resolution of financial issue to R&D,IT and other functional areas as needed.
  • Converts financial analysis to effective reports to help management understand business performance and guide decision making.
  • Creates various business reports, models and tools to drive business results
  • Assists in planning and execution of the forecast process, works cross-functionally and cross-geographies to gather forecast information, compiles and analyzes forecast information, develops recommendations for improved financial performance, completes the forecast process, and prepares final reports and communication materials.
  • Contributes toplanning and execution of the annual budget process, works cross-functionally and cross-geographies to gather budget information, compiles and analyzes budget information, develops recommendations for improved financial performance, completes the budget process, and prepares final reports and communication materials.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • An advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.


Experience



  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience in financial forecasting and planning including managing the forecast or planning process, working cross-functionally resolving forecast/budget issues, driving a forecast/plan process to closure, analysis of forecast/plan results, and effective communication of completed forecast/plan results.
  • Evaluating processes and developing recommendations for process improvements.


Skills



  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi task, work in an independent manner and seek assistance as needed.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex financial information and deliver conclusions and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Understanding of financial analysis techniques, general accounting principles, and cost accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical, spreadsheet and modeling skills.
  • Strongoral and written communication skills are required. Proven ability to develop complex financial models.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership skills with proven ability to lead processes
  • Professional approach tocommunicate clearly and concisely with all levels of corporate management.
  • Skilled at working with financial accounting systems such as SAP; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with business analytics tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience working with financial planning systesm such as Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, OneStream, etc.
  • Public AI tool compentency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role will be based on site in Lakewood, CO

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:$74,900.00to$93,600.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
