Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has an opening for a Data Engineer/Power BI Developer within the Digital Solutions team. This position will support end to end analytics solutions using Oracle cloud data tools. The Digital Solution (DS) team is leading Intralox's implementation and evolution of our enterprise business applications and new digital solutions. DS is more than just an IT department - we are business domain experts, software developers, and operational support resources that use technology to bring more value to customers and Intralox. This position will report to the Business Intelligence team supervisor.

- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Build complex data models and data sets that meet business requirements
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a variety of data sources using SQL and Oracle Analytics Cloud technologies
- Build analytics reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance and operations metrics
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Requirements:
- Advanced working SQL (PL/SQL) knowledge and experience working with relational databases and query authoring
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data models
- Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large datasets
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field. Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field preferred. Knowledge of Oracle EBS preferred.

- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Oracle Data Integrator
- Experience with Oracle cloud services: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Big Data Service (data lake), Oracle Data Flow
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
