JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State World Campus Brand Marketing Team is looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for social media to serve as an intern who will assist with our organic social media efforts. This team member will report directly to the Director of Web Marketing and Social Media Strategyand will assist in overseeing the development of strategy for and the implementation of organic social media content on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Our team hopes to immerse the right candidate into as much of our daily operations and social media content planning, execution, and metrics analysis as possible to help to prepare them for a career in social media marketing. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
