Overview of LCSW psychotherapist position

We are excited to expand our mission-driven team of skilled clinicians and are seeking a full-time LCSW psychotherapist. We are committed to providing quality psychotherapy to older adults within a dynamic community agency setting. CJE's counseling services team has realistic caseload expectations with an emphasis on work/life balance and no evening or weekend hours required. Therapists receive group and individual clinical supervision weekly to enhance clinical skills and to support a therapist's growth and self-care. We provide ongoing professional education and reimbursement for professional training. We strongly believe that no therapist should do this work alone and we strive to provide an affirming and supportive culture in which social work professionals can grow and thrive!

Compensation: $68,000+ Annually with $2,500 sign on bonus

Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, no evening or weekend hours required.

The employee has the option to become a dues-paying member of Service Employees International Union Local 73.

Services we provide include benefits services, care management, caregiver resources, counseling services, food services, Holocaust Community services, and legal services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy through a person-centered, trauma-informed lens.
  • May also provide group therapy and facilitate support groups based on professional interest and opportunity.
  • Demonstrate comfort with or willingness to learn primary electronic software platform for all practice functions including scheduling, telehealth visits, billing, and documentation.
  • When necessary, perform some care management and care coordination with a focus on facilitating internal referrals to CJE's comprehensive network of services.
  • Apply cultural competency in assessment and ongoing client work with all cultural backgrounds with a focus on Jewish Culture.
  • Participate in weekly group supervision as well as weekly individual supervision for the first year.
  • Enhance clinical skills and professional self through ongoing clinical education and training.
  • May provide field instruction for clinical social work students with support of designated agency field liaison.


Requirements



  • Current State of Illinois Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge and expertise in aging, mental health, and human behavior preferred.
  • Psychotherapy experience required, family and couples experience preferred.


Other Qualifications



  • Comfort with technology and willingness to do remote work including telehealth.
  • Familiarity and skill in using MS Office, including Outlook and Word, is required.
  • Capacity to learn InSync electronic health software system.
  • Ability to work in West Rogers Park and/or Deerfield offices.
  • Ability to provide occasional home visits to clients in areas near offices as needed.
  • Willingness to work occasional evening hours as needed but not required.
