Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Responsibilities Position reports to the Director of Information Technology or designee. The Manager, Network Engineering plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet Southcoast Health's requirements for security, performance and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirements for the organization. The Manager, Network Engineering directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost analysis. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand and future architectures. Additionally, the Manager, Network Engineering keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices using vendors and providers as additional resources to support the networks. The Manager, Network Engineering is usually certified and has a deep knowledge of vendor specific products either cloud based or on premise, or a hybrid of both. Experience with hyperconverged networking in a healthcare setting is a plus. Qualifications
