We are looking for someone who as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer can support and nurture the team responsible for maintaining and syncing directory data throughout Microsoft's ecosystem. This role involves working with hybrid environments and partnering closely with product development teams to channel feedback from our enterprise experiences. ResponsibilitiesImplement automation to enhance IAM services and develop new capabilities.Create and maintain extensible and reusable code for IAM services.Lead solution architecture discussions to improve system performance.Operationalize and scale IAM services and security controls with an action-oriented mindset, performing careful analysis while quickly driving resultsDrive innovative solutions from proposal to maintenance.Translate business requirements into technical specifications.Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in an on-call rotation.Build monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities.Recommend mitigation strategies based on trends identified in the analysis of key IAM metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other data sources (e.g., bugs, unhealthy data pipeline).Define and implement metrics to address gaps in measurement and reporting.Influence team members to act in response to findings, prioritized by severity.Recognize patterns and trends to recommend security policy improvements.Ability to ingest new work while balancing existing priorities and prioritize work based on risk reductionEmbody our Culture and Values
