Manage a team of engineers and designers to develop waterfront structures projects
• Oversee the preparation of all phases of the project including preliminary design visit, conceptual plans, zoning/planning coordination, permit documentation and construction level design plans.
• Develops and approves scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments
• Prepares proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs; reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
• Supervise all assisting staff necessary to complete assignments; assists senior management and staff as a technical advisor
• Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.
• Consistently monitors and achieves project financial goals.
• Maintaining client relationships, service as point of contact for their projects, and developing opportunities for further work.
• Work closely with the Practice Leader to further relationships with existing and new clients to expand workload.
• Prepare project reports and submittals.
• Complete site visits as necessary.
• Work with the Project Assistant on project setup, billing and closeout.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Field work to gather existing conditions information and perform construction inspections.
• PE is required for this position

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 - 12 years of professional experience.
• Appropriate professional certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
