Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Role/Purpose: Prep work weldments from engineering drawings utilizing band saws, drill press, hand grinders, and TIG/MIG welding stainless steel. Product finishing to specified levels. Perform Product Finisher duties when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Group together required parts prescribed in BOM Weld and setup sub-assemblies for other welders Control raw material inventory and ensure correct materials are allocated Ensure in-house job routers are correct and completed Follow SOP and OPLs Other duties as assigned What You Need to Succeed Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to assemble weldments from drawings Operation of a TIG/MIG welder, setup, and maintenance Operate drill press, and band saw Utilize hand grinders/sanders to perform grain finishing Proficient blueprint knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances Proficient in mathematical equations (standard and metric) Familiar with fabrication shop practices Exceptional organizational skills Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law. OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.
