Description The DC hardware team consists of ~20 individuals. Team members are spread across several shifts including day, night, and weekend shifts, and three sites (DC0, DC1 and DC2). Team consists of DC Operations (IT hotline/break/fix), and DC Planning. * Shift Turnover/Review: You'll start each shift with a review of upcoming work, taking turnover from 1st shift team, identify any issues, and communicate priorities. * Hotline Support: Receive calls from various groups and vendors regarding faulty service or equipment alerts. Monitor and manage ticketing dashboard and queue. * Variety of work: There is no typical shift. You could be working on anything from installing physical devices or preparing for new builds, to repairing servers or installing cables. * Learning: The DC team supports thousands of devices so there is always an opportunity to learn new technology with a "figure it out" mentality. * -Rack and Stack -Break fixes -Server Knowledge (level 1) -Replacing/swapping oout batteries Challenges: You're comfortable working on products with tech that has never been used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution. A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job. You have an upbeat, persistent style, are an effective communicator, and can confidently reach out to other groups or vendor support to resolve issues. In addition, you can present your ideas in a clear, professional manner on paper, in-person, and over the phone. * Organized. Muti-tasking abilities are essential when working on the DC Operations team. Attention to details is imperative as information is exchanged across multiple groups to triage incidents and coordinate with teams to schedule required maintenance. * Proven Winner. You have an ambitious spirit and thrive under pressure. You can retain information and collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
