MUST BE LOCAL TO RHODE ISLAND Description IT Contractor Qualification: Knowledge with HL7, medical device networking, servers and storage for various modalities, such as but not limited to CT, MR, IR, Rad/Fluoro, Mammo, ultrasound imaging systems, EKG machines, etc. made by, GE, Philips, Siemens, FUJI, Hologic, Sonosite, and other vendors. Proficient with medical device Windows and Linux based utilities on configuring network interoperability with PACS and EMR. Understanding of basic networking DICOM knowledge. Have some devices on VPN Tunnels. High volume of equipment CT, MRI, etc Variety of configuration tools to get this work done Strong communication skills - will be interacting with vendors and Medical team The work is built off routine but this person needs a strong understanding of the networks and devices as they will be working independently Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $100.00/hr.
